AboutThis community is dedicated to setting aside one hour a week to write, chatting about it all, providing support for fellow writers, and asking for help when needed.
Join up and set aside one hour a week and come join us to coax our muses into producing something fabulous.
Tips for Participation:
1. You must have an AIM instant messaging account.
2. You cannot use the AIM Express web service to participate in a chat.
3. If you are having connection issues, logging into the free web messaging service at Meebo.com with your AIM Login has proven to be a successful alternative.
4. Send a message to the moderator for an invitation into the chat (check the day's notice for the account name)
Format of the Chats:
1. Everyone signs into the chat and we do a round of welcomes, chat for a little while, make sure everyone has something to work on, and handle any questions or problems shared in the group.
2. We break to work for 60 minutes.
3. After 60 minutes we come back to the chat and talk a little more.
Several collaborative projects have been completed as a result of the 1Hour2Write chats and they are being met with fantastic feedback. In fact, "In Honor of Edmond" was nominated for a 2008 CSI FanFic Award.
